WIGOS is a framework which enables the existing weather observation systems to provide more efficiently and effectively data required for delivery of Climate Services. WIGOS/WIS workshop is taking place at Snow Crest Hotel in Arusha from 2^nd to 5^th June 2014. Participants of this workshop are coming from Eastern Africa countries namely Republic of South Africa, Djibout, Comoro, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Madagascar, Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia as well as representatives from WMO. Local participants are coming from TANAPA, TANESCO, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Ministry of Water and TMA as the workshop organizer.
