Following various reports circulating in the social media regarding the eligibility of Republic of Congo U17 players in the just ended Afcon U17 qualifiers Tanzania Football Federation wishes to state as follows:
Eligibility player (s) is a matter of control under the Confederation of African Football CAF.
TFF is in contact with CAF regarding the subject matter referred above. TFF wishes to reiterate its willingness to continue to cooperate with CAF in its endeavors to ensure CAF and FIFA tournaments are organized in a fair manner.
Consequently all matters related to eligibility of players in various CAF organized tournaments should be referred to CAF offices.
